Inspired Golf Scoring System
Participants will earn points for the entire tournament for participation and performance. Points are accumulated at each of the daily preliminary tournaments and the final standings for each flight will determine those golfers who will participate in the Tournament of Champions.
British Stableford Scoring System
All participants’ scores will be calculated for each of the daily tournaments by using the traditional Stableford Scoring system. This scoring system allows for faster play, which helps us all play more Inspired Golf. In traditional Stableford, no additional points are provided for a double eagle, but in the unlikely event that a participant does make a double eagle during the Inspired Golf competition, they will be rewarded with 7 points. As you can see below, no points are awarded for a score of double bogey or higher, which means once you reach that score on any given hole, you should pick up and wait to begin play again on the next hole.
